Our Story

Founders’ Vision

Inspired by the bilingual journey of her daughter, Fatma Dodurka, alongside Carl Holtman, founded “Be the Voice of Girls.” Their vision was clear: to create an innovative learning environment where English and art converge, enriching the minds and souls of young girls.

Program Genesis

The dream took flight in İskenderun, Turkey, with the backing of the Regional English Language Office (RELO). There, twenty girls embarked on a 36-week adventure of learning and discovery, proving that when language education meets artistic exploration, boundaries are limitless.
Approach & Impact

Unique Methodology

“Be the Voice of Girls” is built on three pillars: Arts, U.S. Culture, and Spoken English. From storytelling and journalism to podcasts and food art, our curriculum is designed to unleash potential and ignite creativity. Learning about life in the U.S. through real stories and interactive sessions, coupled with hands-on English practice, our girls gain confidence and skills that last a lifetime.

Outcomes

The impact is profound. Participants not only excel in English but also find their voices in the art world, leading to improved self-esteem and social skills. The sense of community fostered among the girls encourages collaboration, friendship, and mutual growth, empowering them to take leadership roles beyond our classrooms.
